RnB-Blues: I love your new song, "Ms. Devine" Every time I hear it, I get goose bumps. Where did you get the inspiration to write such a great song?

Y-C'EL Songwriter: The song came from a crush I had on a woman back in the day.

RnB-Blues: Who influenced you and why did you choose to make RnB music?

Y-C'EL Songwriter: Stevie Wonder, R. Kelly, H-Town, D’Angelo, Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross and the list goes on

RnB-Blues: If you could record a duet with any RnB/Hip-Hop music star, who would it be?

Y-C'EL Songwriter: I’d have to say Stevie Wonder, because he’s the Epitome of R&B to me

RnB-Blues: What do you do for inspiration when you sit down to write a song and it seems that nothing wants to come out?

Y-C'EL Songwriter: I'll usually just play around on the keys, till I get that melody or chord that stands out then I build around it, singing a harmony out, then I’ll follow with the lyrics.

RnB-Blues: Do you also want to write songs for other artists?

Y-C'EL Songwriter: Yes and I also do some Ghost writing as well.

RnB-Blues: What other artists in different genres of music besides RnB do you like to listen to?

Y-C'EL Songwriter: I listen to Hip Hop the Jay-Z, Common, Roots, Nas to Gospel fred hammond, winans, and Jazz artists like Kirk whalum and Kenny G

RnB-Blues: What is a typical day in the life of Cameron Bowers (aka Y-C'EL Songwriter) on the road like?

Y-C'EL Songwriter: Basically writing new songs, checking emails, performing and
Networking and handling business

RnB-Blues: Where do you see your career going from here?

Y-C'EL Songwriter: The Skies the limit…I only see me, getting bigger and bigger..its been a long time coming. My new album " SONGWRITER " is officially here and its time to take
it to the Next level.

RnB-Blues: What is your biggest lesson in life that you can share with your fans?

Y-C'EL Songwriter: Investing in yourself is Key. If you believe in ya self, Invest your time, dedication, and money and Hustle to be Heard.

RnB-Blues: Does it get overwhelming worrying about the opinion of others?

Y-C'EL Songwriter: I use to care back in the Day, But i've come to understand you'll never be able to escape critism no matter what you do. Im open to construction critism, but if you Hating.. I just brush it off and continue to Live my Life.
